I’ve always wanted to go to a lavender field. My Lola(grandma) said to visit Provence, France for their famous lavender field. Unfortunately, I did not have time to go this summer. However, I’ve found out that London also has one just outside of Central London! It is my first time visiting this field and I’d say it’s quite gorgeous!
I was scared the lavenders would not be in full bloom. Luckily, there were when we visited. The best part? The admission fee to the field is only £1 ! With that, you can already spend your entire day exploring the field, taking great photos, or just taking a break here!
Unfortunately, you cannot have a picnic in the field. It would have been amazing though if they allow that. However, they have little cafe where they serve fresh sandwiches, scones, lemonade, yogurt, pastries and ice cream! You have the nice view of the lavenders while enjoying your meal! I’d say it’s such an experience!
I think visiting this London lavender field is the highlight of my summer. I enjoyed taking pictures and exploring the field. I wish we have one near my home but we don’t. I just have to visit London again for this experience. I’m really happy that I did more things that I haven’t done before in London. I think I’m really expanding and getting really comfortable with traveling. Hope everyone is doing great!
