“Switzerland is a place where they don’t like to fight, so they get people to do their fighting for them while they ski and eat chocolate.” – Larry David. And indeed their chocolates and alps are amazing! Last summer, I had the chance to not just go to Switzerland but also to go to Jungfrau, the highest summit of Bernese Alps, the top of Europe!
We took a train going to the top of Jungfrau, and the view during the ride was to die for! It was very scenic. You can really see the natural beauty of nature and of Switzerland. I saw a lot of deers, elk, and mountains goats grazing and chilling. Haha. Get it? Chilling? Like this frozen saber-toothed squirrel. I think it is Scrat from the movie Ice Age.
Anyway, on top of Jungfrau, there are so many things to do! You can ski, snowboard, eat, explore, buy a lot of chocolates, sky diving and go to the ice castle! My friends and I went to explore the ice castle and it was simply fabulous!
There is also an audio tour and something like a museum inside. I don’t mind going here for a school field trip!
Also! Did I tell you that Lindt factory is also located here? On top of this mountain? Yay! I bought a lot of chocolates!
Here are all the photos! Enjoy!
But of course, the most exciting thing about Switzerland beside chocolates is the snow! We got to play with ice and it was so much fun. We built a snowman and we definitely felt like Ana and Elsa from Frozen! There was a lot of snow but it was not very cold up there. It was also very sunny! Good for the photos! So I was able to wear tank top with just a coat on. How nice! I was able to move freely! Have a good day everyone!
